Blogs
While there are few out there who haven't heard the term blog, there are probably many who have never read one let alone written one. A blog, short for web log, is a web page whose content is updated very often with new articles or postings. With an estimated more than 30,000,000 blogs out there in the Blogoshpere, there is bound to be somebody writing on a subject that is important to you in your business and personal life.

A bonus to blogs is that they get more attention from the search engines because their pages stay fresh. They also get more attention from the public for the same reason. This increased attention results in better search engine placement. For some more on blogs and blogging visit our site.

RSS...Unless you live for the web and new technology, you may not be familiar with the term RSS, it's short for Real Simple Syndication (whatever that means). It's getting lots of buzz these days. You may have noticed the RSS logo on some of your favorite web sites. We'll be spending some time this month exploring just what RSS is, what it does, and what it is good for. Make sure to read our report on RSS in the next edition of EPK News.

Update on PayPal. Using PayPal to send invoices is very easy to do. You simply enter the client's contact information into a form and add a list of current charges. Then PayPal sends the client an invoice via e-mail. The client then has the option to pay that invoice using a PayPal account, credit card, of electronic check. Of course, they can also still mail in a check. Once payment is received, PayPal has tools that make it easy to record the transaction into most popular accounting software packages. If you would like to try this out with your next bill or have questions, let us know. The clients who have used this payment method have given it good reviews.

We encourage you to give us feedback. Tell us what you'd like to learn more about, whether it be how search engines work or what colors make the greatest impact.

Thanks,
EPK Design
